This role is ideal for mechanically-inclined operations professionals that want to broaden and build their career experiences. Teamwork is at the heart of our operation, as mechanics work together to identify critical parts of our product lines that can be improved and ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.What You'll Do:Onboard, train, and lead a team of Mechanics and Senior Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and ensuring workflow is efficientMaintain a team oriented environment and integrate new Mechanics to the teamEvaluate and provide feedback to manager on team performanceEnsure operational compliance and safety of all vehicles by completing quality checks prior to their departure from the warehouse for deploymentFollow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehiclesEnsure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and partsManage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and moreSupport inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehiclesMay assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assemblyIdentify issues and perform small repairs on vehicles in field from brake adjustments to vehicle cleaning to ensure vehicles are in optimal working conditionMaintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehousePerform in warehouse repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacementMaximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assignedMay be required to safely operate a push cart, pallet jack, and/or forklift to move vehicle inventory. Where applicable, forklift certification will be necessary.Safely operate a van to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within the local market as neededAdditional job related tasks as assignedAbout You:Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver license and good driving record1 year of experience in a similar industry; with the ability to train others preferred Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekendsAbility to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis requiredAn understanding of workforce management to help Ops Management ensure efficient staffingComfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new toolsAbility to use data to inform decision making; and understand KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to make an impactKnowledge of cell phone applications. iOS experience preferredExperience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart. Where markets require the use of a forklift, Lime will coordinate a certificationStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairsSelf-motivated with and the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily tasksA safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checksExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with team members at all levels*Disclaimer: To ensure the safety of our drivers Dual-Facing AI Dash Cams that record the road and inside the cab have been installed in our vehicles.
