Job Title

This job is located in Livingston, on Tubular Drive in the United States. It falls under Operations Exploitation and is a permanent contract requiring less than 3 years of experience.

Activities

The main duties include:

• Adding, maintaining, and deleting users on the network according to guidelines established by the Corporate Network Manager
• Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of network security
• Providing end user technical support on industry hardware/software products
• Assisting in the writing and maintenance of system documentation at both technical and user levels
• Performing backup and restore functions for local computers as required
• Setting up new hardware/software for end users as directed by company standards
• Maintaining company wide inventory on hardware and software
• Helping to ensure that the corporate computer system is up and running according to schedule
• Monitoring systems for messages needing a reply and responding appropriately
• Assisting in the implementation of new hardware/software
• Protecting the network through virus protection software and obtaining/installing updates as needed
• Assisting in the installation of system upgrades and patches
• Actively supporting Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately reporting all dangerous situations and correcting them when able to do so safely, participating in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and using all required PPE
