This position is with Virginia Packing, LLC (VPack), a member of the Forever Cheese family of companies, based at our Toano, VA warehouse.

Pay Range: $18-$22 per hour | Weekly Pay | Overtime Available

Exemption Status: Non-exempt

About The Role: The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of Forever Cheese products to customers throughout the region. Operating out of our Toano, VA location, this role requires a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a commitment to upholding all traffic laws and company safety standards. This is a local route position with a standard 40-hour work week. Home nightly, no weekends required. All overtime hours are compensated in accordance with applicable law.

• Are flexible and prepared for weeks that require additional hours based on business needs.
• Provide courteous, professional service and represent Forever Cheese at every customer location.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company delivery vans safely and in full compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic regulations.
• Deliver product to customer locations on schedule via local daily routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load, secure, and protect temperature-sensitive product during transport, maintaining proper cold chain handling.
• Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, and returns documentation.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, traffic, delays, or any issues encountered.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, vehicle care, and fuel usage.
• Represent the company professionally at all customer locations.
• Carry out any additional duties that may be assigned or requested.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• Clean and acceptable driving record (MVR required).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Working knowledge of safe driving practices and local delivery routes.
• Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 95 lbs.
• Ability to safely enter and exit the vehicle and load and unload product, including in refrigerated environments.
