About the Job This position is offering a $10,000 Dollar Sign on Bonus. This is a full-time 36 hour per week position and the schedule is TBD. Medstar Health is looking for a Diagnostic Technologist to join our team! We are looking for a registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills. The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation. Primary Duties: Acquire ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Report any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintain X‑ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Perform preventative maintenance regularly. Obtain patient history, answer patient questions, and explain procedures. Transport patients to radiographic room and prepare and maintain room. Perform radiographic examinations. Prepare written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. Request and order supplies. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland. Basic Life Support (BLS). Associate degree preferred.
