Methodist Family Health is seeking a compassionate, licensed mental health professional to join our Day Treatment School Program serving elementary and middle school students (K–8). This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

The Day Treatment Therapist provides assessment, individual, family, and group therapy services within a school-based treatment environment and collaborates closely with educators, families, and community partners to support student success.

What You'll Do

· Conduct diagnostic assessments and behavioral health evaluations.

· Provide individual, family, group, and crisis intervention services.

· Develop and maintain treatment plans and clinical documentation.

· Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies.

· Participate in treatment team meetings, IEP meetings, and school-based conferences.

· Support students experiencing behavioral health crises.

· Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.

· Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

Required

· Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.

· Arkansas licensure in good standing (PLMSW, LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE, LPE-I, or Licensed Psychologist).

· Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred

· School-based behavioral health experience.

· Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

· Experience with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

· TF-CBT certification or other specialized training (EMDR, Play Therapy, etc.).

· Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
