Job Purpose - The Dietitian provides assessment, nutrition care plan development and implementation, and patient education. Maintains effective communication with medical, nursing, and departmental management concerning nutritional care of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional status, therapeutic diet(s), enteral or parenteral nutrition, and patient condition.
- Develop and implement the nutritional plan of care for patients in response to identified needs with input from the patient and family.
- Re-assess patients at least bi-weekly and as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with medical, nursing, and departmental management concerning nutritional care of patients.
