The Role This is a full-time hybrid role Trial Attorney to manage and litigate high-stakes catastrophic injury cases. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to try cases, develop strategy, and make a real impact. You will represent clients in cases involving Catastrophic personal injury (including brain injury, spinal cord injury, severe burns, amputations) Construction and industrial accidents Workplace safety violations and third‑party liability claims Key Responsibilities Lead case strategy from intake through trial Conduct depositions, discovery, and motion practice Vet, hire, and work closely with experts (medical, engineering, vocational, economic) Handle mediations, arbitrations, and trials Collaborate with intake, paralegal, and litigation teams Assess potential cases for strategic fit and legal and factual merit Provide compassionate, trauma-informed client communication What Sets This Role Apart Meaningful Trial Work: You won’t just support—you’ll try cases and own outcomes Impact Litigation: Be part of cases that shape worker safety and public accountability Team‑Based Support: Dedicated staff, shared expertise, and collaborative firm culture Mission‑Driven Practice: Clients come first—always Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Washington State Bar license (or ability to waive in) 5+ years litigation experience (trial experience strongly preferred) Plaintiff-side PI or civil litigation background ideal Strong writing, deposition, and advocacy skills Ability to manage complex, high‑value cases Commitment to ethical, client‑centered representation Compensation includes salary plus a percentage of fees earned. Based on historical earnings within the firm, this position is expected to pay $300,000-$500,000 with the potential for a very high upside depending upon fees generated. There is no ceiling on bonus earnings.
