Role Description The Leasing Professional – St James Uptown Dallas is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Dallas, TX. This position is responsible for greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, and presenting available apartment homes and community amenities. The Leasing Professional will manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease execution, including application processing, lease documentation, and move‑in coordination. Daily tasks include responding to phone, email, and walk‑in inquiries, maintaining accurate records in leasing and property management systems, and ensuring that the community is well‑presented and market‑ready. The role also involves supporting resident retention through excellent customer service, addressing resident questions and concerns, and partnering with the onsite team to meet occupancy and revenue goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess Lease Administration and Leases skills to manage applications, lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation accurately and efficiently. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with prospective residents, current residents, and team members. Relevant skills such as basic sales aptitude, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving abilities are beneficial. Previous experience in residential leasing, property management, hospitality, or a related customer‑facing field is preferred. Comfort with property management software and standard office applications, along with strong organizational and time management skills, is valuable.
