You'll lead a dedicated team, work closely with residents, oversee community operations, and help create an environment where older adults can enjoy comfort, independence, and peace of mind.At Oakbrook, we trust our Property Managers to lead confidently, think strategically, and take ownership of their communities while providing the support needed to succeed.What You'll DoLead the day-to-day operations of a 143-unit senior housing communityRespond promptly and professionally to resident, employee, and vendor inquiriesBuild and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, ownership, and service providersSupervise, coach, and develop on-site team membersPrepare, monitor, and manage operating budgets and expensesReview invoices, ensure proper coding, and approve paymentsPrepare monthly reports, lease summaries, and operational data as requiredCoordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident retention effortsManage delinquency and collection processes in accordance with company policiesMeet and maintain occupancy goals through resident-focused service and effective marketingMarket the property in accordance with Fair Housing regulations and community guidelinesOversee property inspections and maintain community standardsCoordinate resident improvements and capital projects as neededRespond to after-hours emergencies when appropriateEnsure compliance with Fair Housing and other applicable housing regulationsDemonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's Core Values in all interactionsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious residential property management experience requiredSupervisory or team leadership experience requiredStrong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience managing budgets and property operationsComputer proficiency and experience with property management software preferredAbility to conduct routine property inspections, with or without reasonable accommodationValid driver's license requiredWhy Join Oakbrook Corporation?At Oakbrook Corporation, property management is about more than maintaining buildings.
