Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, monitoring security-related activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential issues, policy violations, and unauthorized activity at the location.
• Monitor access points and help verify credentials, visitor entry, deliveries, and restricted area activity in accordance with location protocols and/or post orders.
• Support security-related operations at an aero and defense location by maintaining awareness of site conditions, communicating with site contacts, and assisting with incident response and/or escalation procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
