Inventory Coordinator

Inventory Coordinator Agawam manufacturing company currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator. Candidate will oversee the management and optimization of inventory levels in their warehouse, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, and sales operations. Full time, temp-hire opportunity! Duties include: Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies Perform MRP entries to allocate materials and components used in the production of subparts and assemblies including: o Raw Materials Purchased hardware, produced subparts, consigned materials Manage all Shelf Life Items (ie adhesives, paints, etc.) Manage MRP and physical inventory of fixtures used for CNC Machining, CMM Inspection, and Assembly Lead and participate in routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes and results Use assigned devices to take and save pictures of required packaging for WIP and finished parts Serve as primary backup for creation of shipping documents Serve as a primary backup for the shipping /receiving area Qualifications: 2+ years' related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders Attention to detail and quality Schedule: 1st shift 8am-5pm Monday through Friday Pay: $20-30/hr depending on experience
