Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. Local Team Collaboration We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health Rockwall of 10 physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse and a practice manager. Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups. Outside of work, we come together for social events to celebrate special occasions and share common interests like food and sports. Qualifications We are open to 2026 graduates. ACLS certified and Internal medicine only. Scheduling This is a full-time nocturnist role. Full-time positions follow a 7-nights-on, 7-nights-off rotation. Our team covers for each other when anyone is out, ensuring that you can enjoy time off without worry. Key Responsibilities The nocturnist role is primarily an admitting position; you will run codes and rapids, no procedures. You will have a Swing physician who works from 10 am to 10 pm to help with admissions. The average census per nocturnist is 10‑11 admits per night. EMR is EPIC.
