BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR

Estimator Responsibilities:

• Experienced with CCC-One estimating system
• Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Identify parts that need replacement or repair, including body panels, bumpers, fenders, hoods, and trim.
• Determine if structural damage requires realignment or repair.
• Research and collect information on the cost of parts and labor.
• Prepare detailed estimates for insurance companies and customers, including labor hours, material costs, and any special requests.
• Explain the repair process and estimated costs to customers.
• Work with insurance adjusters to obtain approval for repairs and payment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns throughout the repair process.
• Ensure that repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the collision center's technicians and parts department to ensure the timely completion of repairs.
• Handling accounts receivable for your accounts.
