Community Hospital South has an excellent opportunity available within our main Operating Room located in Indianapolis (Greenwood area), IN.

Responsibilities

• Scrub on a variety of surgical cases.
• Assist the surgeons and anticipate needs.
• Possess knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology from a CAAHEP accredited program of Surgical Technology preferred.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred, or required within 6 months of hire.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task with a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.
• Takes direction well but also self-directed and motivated.
