Cardiology Physician Assistant

Health First Medical Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
to join our established cardiovascular team in Viera, Florida.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice alongside an experienced team of Cardiologists and
Advanced Practice Providers, with strong support from Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology,
Cardiothoracic Surgery, and an experienced hospitalist team.
What You ll Do
As a Cardiology Hospitalist APP, you will play an integral role in the inpatient care of our
cardiovascular patients. A typical day will include:
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments and detailed physical examinations
• Evaluating cardiology admissions from the Emergency Department
• Conducting daily rounds on general cardiology
• Performing inpatient cardiology consultations
• Managing and interpreting cardiac devices and device-related needs
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies
• Providing patient and family education
• Facilitating effective discharge planning and transitions of care
• Collaborating closely with Cardiologists, hospitalists, nurses, and other members of the
multidisciplinary care team

• 7 on 7 off , Tuesday - Monday
• Dedicated inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist role
• Established cardiovascular program with a highly collaborative team
• Strong support from Cardiology subspecialists, including Interventional Cardiology and
Electrophysiology

What We re Looking For
• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Cardiology and/or inpatient experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient education and high-quality, patient-centered care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Eligible for appropriate Florida licensure and credentialing
