Your future assignment details:

• Openings include two Elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) self-contained classes, one Middle/High School ASD self-contained class, and one Cognitive Impairments classroom.
• Serve students with mild to severe behavioral and developmental needs.
• No supervision staff (Para, RBT, CNA, or LPN) provided; you’ll have autonomy and the chance to lead your own classroom.
• Both in-person and virtual interviews available for your convenience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License required—no substitute credentials permitted.
• Emotional Impairments certification and/or Autism endorsement needed.
• For High School Autism classrooms: bachelor's degree with an endorsement in autism spectrum disorder or other special education field, plus readiness to enroll in courses for endorsement if needed.
• Emergency certification support may be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Manage self-contained classrooms for ASD or cognitive impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Adapt teaching methods for a range of behaviors and learning abilities.
