Registered Nurse - MedSurg Night ShiftWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our MedSurg unit. This position entails providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting a collaborative team approach.ResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to patients on the MedSurg unit, including post-surgical, orthopedic, and general medical patients.Monitor patient conditions and administer required treatments, including heparin and comfort measures.Coordinate care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.Participate in resource management during nights, ensuring adequate patient assignments are maintained.Handle telehealth monitoring, cooperating with technicians for remote patient tele monitoring.Adhere to safety protocols related to COVID-19 patients, managing both 'clean' and 'dirty' assignments effectively.ScheduleThis is a full-time position, requiring 12-hour night shifts. Weekend work is mandatory, with a schedule that includes every other weekend and two Fridays per month.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN license in the state.BLS certification required.Experience in a MedSurg setting is preferred.Ability to float to other MedSurg units as needed.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
