We are seeking a pleasant, energetic Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier for a part-time to full-time position at a long-standing pharmacy in Vero Beach, Florida. This role provides balanced front-counter and pharmacy support, with a primary focus on cashiering, customer service, and inventory assistance. The position reports to the pharmacist-in-charge and does not require Sundays, allowing time with family and friends.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and assistance.
• Operate the cash register and process customer payments.
• Receive and support prescription intake.
• Balance the register accurately.
• Provide inventory support and retrieve products.
• Offer phone support and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain store organization and an orderly front-counter area.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in pharmacy retail operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and pharmacy software.
• Familiarity with prescription intake and inventory management.
• Customer service experience and a genuine desire to help customers.
• Strong attention to detail and verbal communication skills.
