Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, and provide intraoperative support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and procedural efficiency. This opportunity is based in Davenport, IA in a home health setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surg Tech in a surgical environment.
• Experience with orthopedic and robotic-assisted procedures preferred. (Preferred)
• Ability to work on-call shifts and scheduled weekend rotation as required by the client. Client requires one on-call day per week and every 4th weekend.
• Willingness to work variable start times between 0600-0800 as part of the shift structure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a CVOR or cardiac surgical environment is preferred for applicable roles.
• Experience with instrument processing and sterile technique in high-acuity OR settings is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600-1800.
• Work pattern: Four 10-hour days with variable start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
• On-call requirement: One day per week and every fourth weekend.
• Clinical focus: Orthopedic/OR Robotic procedures.
