Float RNs provide adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. We're Looking For:

- Experience: Strongly Prefer 2 years ED RN Experience
- Certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Schedule: Self-Scheduled; day-to-day floating or 6-week float assignments
- 0.0 FTE (Zero Assign); FLEX (Zero Assign);
- Shift: Nights 1900-0730 (4-, 8- or 12-hour Shifts)
- Support Sites: Zone 1: Bay Area, Bay Care, Fond du lac, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, Sheboygan
$50.00 - $50.00 WI Resource Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department FLEX Zone 1 WI Resource Team Emergency Department RN Where You Will Work: Aurora Health (now part of Advocate Health) WI Float Pool is a multi-site resource team supporting Emergency Department (ED) care across the Wisconsin division. Float RNs provide adaptable, high-quality nursing care across multiple hospitals and units based on organizational need. Teammates must be flexible, skilled, and ready to deliver exceptional care in a wide variety of settings. We're Looking For:
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Additional Certification needed: ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
- Weekend Requirement (Friday 1900 - Monday 0700): 1 Weekend Shift per 2 schedule period
- Holiday Requirement: 1 Holiday per year
- Schedule: Self-scheduled. Assignments may be day-to-day or long-term float placements. A minimum of 12 hours per scheduled period is required and may be met through a combination of 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts.
- Providing safe, therapeutic, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrating adaptability by floating to multiple care environments within a designated Zone, integrating quickly into new departments, and collaborating with diverse teams
- Leading efforts that support the safest patient environment and best possible patient experience
- Coordinating care for diverse patient populations within various acute-care, hospital outpatient departments and clinic settings
- Maintaining the competency required to practice in all acute-care facilities within the designated zone
- Travel-nursing-style variety - without the travel: Work across multiple (5-7) Aurora Health facilities through day-to-day floating or 6-week site rotations
