Job Title: MRI Technologist Overview The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. The position also provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager. Responsibilities Perform magnetic resonance imaging exams for diagnosis and treatment. Provide patient education regarding MRI procedures. Conduct quality assessment activities for the MRI division. Qualifications Hospital setting: Current radiography license, ARRT (R); Advanced registry in MRI preferred; Current Radiography ODH license required or MR only Certified ARRT (MR); Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred. Ambulatory (outreach) setting: Current radiography license, ARRT (R); Current radiography ODH license required; Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred; Advanced registry in MRI preferred.
