Overview This is a full-time echo tech position for MCE region location. Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift Description This is a full-time echo tech position for MCE region location. Position Purpose The Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization. Requirements/Qualifications Registered by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) as a RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) as a RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) BLS certification required Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred Minimum one (1) year experience in cardiovascular imaging preferred Position Highlights And Benefits Mount Carmel Health System recognized by Forbes in 2025 as one of America’s Best State Employers.
