Title: Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Location: Redlands, CA 92374

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Employment Type: W2 Assignment with potential for extension or conversion to FTE based on business needs

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Electric Pallet Jack Operator to support warehouse and material handling operations at a manufacturing and distribution facility in Redlands, California. This role involves operating an electric pallet jack to move materials and products throughout the facility, accurately picking orders, and supporting daily warehouse operations. Candidates must have hands-on electric pallet jack experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric pallet jack and other material-handling equipment to move materials, parts, and finished products throughout the warehouse.
• Pick cases accurately according to pick tickets and order requirements.
• Read and interpret pick tickets, product labels, and other warehouse documentation.
• Use handheld scanners or RF devices to track and process materials.
• Follow established standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and support inventory movement as needed.
• Perform routine warehouse tasks while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating an electric pallet jack (EPJ).
• Demonstrated case-picking experience with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret pick tickets, product labels, and warehouse documentation.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, RF devices, or similar warehouse technology.
• High school diploma or GED preferred. Candidates without a diploma or GED must have at least 2 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to obtain or maintain any required equipment training or certifications.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, push, pull, and grasp throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds as required.
• Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment and in an active warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, including hot summer conditions without air conditioning and cold winter conditions with limited heating.
• Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and occasional exposure to vibration, airborne particles, or other typical warehouse conditions.
• Safety shoes are required.
