Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Part Time 1st Shift Officers in the Sunset Beach, NC area. The starting rate of pay is $18/hr, paid weekly.

The officer will be responsible for ensuring that only residents with a valid beach club sticker are permitted to park on-site or, once capacity is reached, directing vehicles to an auxiliary lot located across the street. This assignment will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every weekend, beginning May 23 and ending September 7, with additional coverage on holidays.

General Security Officer Requirements:

• Previous security, military or law enforcement experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education Requirements (All)

High School diploma or equivalent
