The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment, engage students, and deliver targeted academic support to help students build critical thinking skills and learning independence. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: Prior experience delivering academic support and targeted interventions to middle school students, preferred. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of adolescent development and instructional strategies, preferred. Performance Responsibilities Direct Support: Provide small-group instruction, previewing, reinforcement, and review of reading, writing, and math concepts aligned with student learning goals. Intervention Planning: Collaborate with the principal and teaching staff to identify, plan, and deliver effective small-group interventions. Progress Monitoring: Collect and document student performance data to monitor growth and inform instruction. Student Autonomy: Implement learning and organizational strategies to strengthen academic skills while fostering student independence. Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with parents as directed by supervising teachers and school policies. Professional Standards: Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to the professional standards expected of instructional staff.
