TikTok Shop Strategist – JTS Growth About Us JTS Growth is one of the leading TikTok Shop agencies in the U.S., specializing in launching, scaling, and managing top food, beverage, and supplement brands on TikTok Shop. Notable clients includeMike's Hot Honey, Fishwife, Krave Beauty, Gramms Protein, and many more We act as a fractional Head of TikTok Shop for our clients - owning everything from affiliate strategy and content to backend operations and revenue growth. We currently support 40+ brands and are rapidly scaling our client base and internal team. We’re hiring an TikTok Shop Strategist to own execution and performance across a portfolio of brands. Role Overview You will be responsible for driving performance across multiple TikTok Shop accounts through strong execution, clear communication, and continuous optimization. This is a client-facing, operator role - not a task-based or administrative position. You will: Own account performance (GMV growth, views, affiliate content quality and quantity) Own client communication Manage and direct internal teams (internal affiliate management team, promotions and campaign registration, and other back end work) to ensure all execution is aligned with strategy and performance goals Identify areas for process improvement and improve it Identify what is limiting growth and fix it Responsibilities 1. Client Management & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts Lead weekly client calls and provide clear performance updates Maintain proactive, high-quality communication (email, Slack, reporting) Set expectations and ensure clients understand strategy, progress, and next steps 2. Account Performance & Execution Own day-to-day performance across accounts, including: Content alignment Affiliate performance Offer strategy (bundles, pricing, discounts) Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve GMV Identify which part of the system is limiting growth (content, affiliates, or offer) and take action 3. Affiliate Strategy & System Ownership Own the affiliate growth strategy across assigned accounts Oversee the affiliate team responsible for: Creator outreach Sample seeding Follow-ups and activation Define and continuously improve: Outreach messaging and targeting Creator qualification criteria Sample approval standards Scaling and re-engagement strategies Identify bottlenecks (low response rate, low posting rate, low conversion) and solve them Analyze which creators are driving revenue and ensure the team doubles down You are not executing outreach - you are designing and optimizing the system that drives it. 4. Content Alignment & Coordination Work closely with the content team to ensure output aligns with overall account strategy Communicate: What is working (based on performance data) What needs to be tested or adjusted Review and approve content to ensure it is aligned with: Proven formats Offer strategy What is currently converting on TikTok Shop Ensure consistent and timely content output across all accounts You are not responsible for coming up with creative ideas - you are responsible for making sure content aligns with what is working and driving revenue. 5. Promotions, Campaigns & Paid Strategy Oversight Oversee execution of: TikTok Shop promotions and discounting Campaign participation and setup GMV Max campaign setup and management Review work completed by internal teams to ensure accuracy and effectiveness Provide clear direction on: When to run promotions How to structure offers When and how to scale paid efforts Ensure all promotional and paid activity aligns with overall account strategy You are not setting these up yourself - you are ensuring they are set up correctly and driving results. 6. Reporting, Analysis & Performance Oversight Oversee reporting handled by internal teams, including: Weekly dashboards Performance tracking Data accuracy Review reports to identify: What is working What is underperforming Where adjustments need to be made Translate performance data into clear actions across: Affiliate strategy Content direction Promotions and offers Communicate insights clearly to clients and internal teams You are not building reports - you are interpreting them and driving decisions from them. 7. Systems Management & Team Coordination Manage execution through internal teams (affiliate team, content, reporting) Oversee all backend operations, including: Affiliate outreach Reporting updates Promotions and campaign setup GMV Max execution Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and aligned with strategy Audit workflows and continuously improve processes Create structure so execution runs smoothly without constant oversight 8. Process Optimization & Scalability Turn what’s working into repeatable systems Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and results Reduce friction across affiliate, content, and reporting processes Contribute to building scalable playbooks across accounts Qualifications Experience in TikTok, influencer marketing, or social commerce Strong understanding of short-form content and what converts Highly organized with ability to manage multiple accounts at once Strong communication skills (client-facing) Data-driven mindset - you can interpret performance and act on it Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment High ownership mindset - you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks What Success Looks Like (3–6 Months) You are independently managing multiple client accounts Clients are seeing consistent GMV growth Affiliate systems are running efficiently with strong creator output Content production is aligned with what drives performance Backend execution (VAs) is accurate, efficient, and well-directed Minimal oversight needed from leadership What We Offer Opportunity to work with fast-growing consumer brands Direct exposure to high-level TikTok Shop strategy and execution Fast-paced, high-ownership environment Clear path to increased responsibility and growth Final Note This role is for someone who wants to own accounts, drive real revenue, and operate like a builder inside a high-performance environment .
