$15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment for eligible candidates.

Schedule: 3x12s, day shift (7a-7p). Holidays and weekends required.

Join our team in a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit/Telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. We are staffed with RNs, CNAs, and Telemetry Techs providing specialized care for patients primarily diagnosed with respiratory failure and cardiac conditions. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced monitoring technology to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population.

How you'll contribute 

\n

A  Registered Nurse (RN)  who excels in this role:

\n

\n
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
\n
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
\n
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
\n
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
\n
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
\n
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
\n

What we're looking for 
\n Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

\n

\n
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
\n
• AHA ACLS is required within six months of hire. 
\n
• One year of experience preferred
\n
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
