Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to cath lab patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant patient data, analyze findings, and develop plans of care; implement interventions and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient status during procedures and provide post-procedure care, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff as assigned; delegate tasks and coordinate duties to maintain an efficient care environment.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (EPIC) and provide patient and family education as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) or the state of assignment is required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor; CPR or equivalent required; ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in the field; cath lab experience with relevant procedural exposure.
- Cath Lab experience must include structural heart, vascular, diagnostic cath, Impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases.
- EPIC EMR experience is required.
- Education: BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.
