Onsite Field Service Technician II

Onsite Field Service Technician II (Open) Location: Tualatin, OR Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Comprehensive family benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability insurance; parental leave up to 14 weeks; 401(k) retirement plan with company match; tuition assistance; paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. Benefits begin day one. Responsibilities Support a wide range of product lines (specialty gas, chemical, and slurry) and contribute to projects based on needs. Work within defined technical processes, procedures, and methodologies and help determine appropriate approaches for new assignments. Maintain and install equipment using intermediate to advanced technical skills for hooking up, commissioning, testing, retrofitting, maintaining, and resolving system pathways for chemical delivery equipment. Install and debug software and controls collaboratively. Collect data and perform analysis on equipment to diagnose maintenance needs. Identify technical opportunities and implement solutions within the scope of capability to fully understand and safely perform repairs. Connect with appropriate people within the organization to resolve more complex situations. Partner with customers, both internal and external, to identify issues and resolve them together. Complete tasks in a timely manner that advances goals and ensures a seamless, efficient experience for customers and AES. Analyze means of repair and ensure appropriate secondary planning to minimize interruption to customer processes. Operate and install auxiliary equipment such as particle counters, flow meters, sampling systems, analytical equipment, gas analyzers, flow control valves, regulators, and LSS. Solve complex problems requiring thoughtful judgment and technical capabilities plus excellent customer relations skills. Provide the Voice of the Customer to internal audiences and help the organization understand customer needs. Assist in training and supporting customer personnel. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Accept a high degree of trust and autonomy, with oversight focused on complex new assignments. Mentor and support colleagues with less experience to foster a collaborative learning environment. Qualifications Required: HS Diploma or GED. Required: 2+ years of related work experience. Required: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Required: Controls and software debugging skills, including installing software. Required: Ability to use math and computer skills to analyze data. Required: Knowledge of commonly used business software and technical software specific to our equipment. Required: Ability to use appropriate hand or power tools and solid knowledge of appropriate work practices and safe procedures. Required: Ability to speak distinctly and see and hear clearly. Required: Ability to work in a clean‑room environment. Required: Ability to wear a respirator. Required: Demonstrates strong work behaviors including organization, timeliness, dependability, and courtesy. Required: Ability to travel both domestically and internationally. Preferred: Associate Degree in a technical discipline. Preferred: Experience in the semiconductor industry. Preferred: Experience in the industrial gas industry.
