Housekeeping Team Member (Part Time) Suncook River Camp (Suncook, NH) Season: May 15 – October 18, flexibility for students (~June to late August) Position Summary The Housekeeping Team Member ensures the daily cleanliness and presentation of campground facilities, including our glamping rentals (think: hotel rooms on wheels & decks), bathhouses, mobile restrooms, office, and sauna. If you have an interest in outdoor hospitality, hospitality and/or conservation & recreation, come work at an outdoors-focused, independently owned New Hampshire glamping business. This is a physical role requiring the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and wrestle bunk-bed mattresses into submission a few times a week. The ideal candidate has residential or hospitality housekeeping experience and genuinely enjoys leaving a space sparkling for the next guest. Starting pay is $16/hr. Work may be independent or team-based and includes turning over rental units, deep cleans, light inventory management, and shared facility upkeep. This role also monitors for maintenance issues and communicates them promptly to management to stay ahead of repairs and protect guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Clean & prepare rental units for guest stays, including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, linens Launder and fold (yes, even fitted sheets) sheets, blankets, and towels weekly at a local commercial facility Organize and restock linens and unit essentials Clean and restock shared facilities, including bath house, mobile flush restrooms, sauna, dish station, and dog wash Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when inventory reaches ~30% Document and report guest damage or maintenance concerns with notes and photos Remove trash and recycling from rentals and office Maintain overall property cleanliness — never walk or drive past litter Follow all campground policies and safety procedures, including 5 MPH speed limit Schedule & Season Seasonal: May 15 – October 18 (students welcome ~June - late August) Cleaning shifts Sunday & Thursday (with potential for additional mid-week hours) Typical hours: 10:00am – 4:00pm Ideal Candidate Experienced in residential or hospitality cleaning, or a willingness to take coaching and learn Comfortable in tight spaces and varied weather conditions Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of guest privacy Able to work independently Has reliable transportation; comfortable transporting cleaning supplies and/or laundry in your vehicle (return to campground at end of each day) Communicative and receptive to feedback Compensation & Perks $16/hr, part-time (8-12 hrs/wk).
