Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Setting: Inpatient hospital unit Location: Weatherford, TX Start Date: June 15, 2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,820 Employment Type: Travel nursing Schedule: Every other weekend; no floating Job Requirements Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty nursing experience Labor & delivery experience with recovery and immediate newborn care Experience with golden hour baby care and PACU C-sections BLS certification required NRP certification required WHONN certification required Ability to circulate C-sections required Ability to scrub C-sections preferred Meditech experience preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum transition Support immediate newborn care, golden hour newborn stabilization, and maternal-newborn nursing care Assist with C-sections, including circulating and, when qualified, scrubbing Monitor mother and baby outcomes and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver efficient, high-quality bedside care Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong teamwork in a busy clinical setting Why You’ll Love This Travel Nursing Role This is a great opportunity for an L&D RN seeking a focused travel nurse assignment in a supportive North Texas community.
