Overview Registered Dental Assistant - Monthly Bonus Eligibility. Full Time position in Lancaster, CA, US. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare patients and treatment rooms, set up and sterilize instruments, and assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry. Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions to patients. Maintain cleanliness and inventory; schedule appointments; update patient records; assist with payment procedures. Skills and Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual Spanish preferred. Detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using dental software, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Ability to follow state regulations and protocols. Experience, Education, and Certification Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but not required. Must meet state requirements for Dental Assistant duties and hold or obtain applicable certifications, including BLS/CPR and radiography, as required. Work Conditions and Schedule Work under the supervision of dentists, lead dental assistant, and Office Manager in a clinical environment. Some evening or weekend hours may be required; follow safety protocols, including those related to X-ray equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while assisting chairside. Ability to bend, climb stairs, and lift supplies as needed.
