Adhere to state and federal licensure, certification and accreditation requirement guidelines. Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; document progress; discharge planning as appropriate. Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine treatment needs; monitor progress and adjust therapy as needed. Educate patients and families about communication strategies, alternative and augmentative communication options, and swallowing therapy. Requirements Active California state license to practice speech-language pathology. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team. Ability to work in a hospital-based acute care setting and comply with applicable licensing and credentialing requirements.
