Primary Responsibilities

As the Maintenance Mechanic the qualified individual must have experience working on mechanical equipment by completing repairs on pumps, gaskets, valves, mechanical seals, agitators, motors, conveyor systems, piping systems, and production machines.

Identify all tools required for tasks and identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.

Must have knowledge in Pipefitting, Boiler making, Ironworking, and torch use and welding certification a plus.

Must be capable of basic computer use.

Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.

Minor valve maintenance and repair

Test piping systems

Oxygen and acetylene cutting

Basic rigging

Operation of pneumatic and electric tools

Basic plumbing repair

Must have knowledge of towers/columns, exchangers

Identify materials and layout on trays; install valves, trays and strainers; introduction to piping systems; pipefitting; manually cut pipe; and basic rigging.

Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment.

NCCER Plus Certification (Preferred)

Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
