Radiology - CT Tech

CT TechnologistCT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days M-F Hours per Shift: 930a-6p, possible weekend coverage, call, holidays Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current or temporary Radiography license required as per state board regulations Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ARRT certification in CT preferred Must-Have: - Ability to perform all areas of imaging for adults and pediatrics, excluding interventional radiology for adults only - Must be able to start IVs Description: The primary role involves conducting CT scans for patients of all ages. The technologist will collaborate closely with the radiology team. Black scrubs are required for all technicians. Radiologists are in-house from 7 am to 7 pm, with call coverage from 7 pm to 7 am. Technologists will not be required to work weekends or holidays. All imaging studies performed will adhere to facility protocols and standards. A radiation badge will be required, to be provided by the agency. Candidates must disclose any background hits at the time of submission. The position requires manual proficiency with imaging equipment and software. Teamwork and communication skills are essential for this role.
