Laboratory Technician *Entry Level Role*

Onsite in Newark, DE 19711

Pay Rate : $19-20 per hour W2
Duration : 6 months to start (potential to extend/convert)
Schedule : 7-9am start time; M-F, 40 hours per week

Support the daily operation of a microbiological testing laboratory, including but not limited to:
Receive, unpack, and organize customer samples for laboratory processing.
Organize and prepare customer returns for processing.
Under supervision and guidance discard customer samples.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine cleaning of all laboratory equipment as needed.
Assist with Operations laboratory inventory.
Restock consumables and materials required for sample processing.
Under supervision and guidance operate laser cutter.
Dispose of microbial cultures, chemicals, recyclables, sharps, and glass in proper waste containers.

Requirements:

Background : entry level laboratory role - any relevant experience a plus!
Skills : Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented work environment.
Education : high school diploma minimum; associate degree or higher preferred
