Laboratory Technician *Entry Level Role*
Pay Rate : $19-20 per hour W2
Duration : 6 months to start (potential to extend/convert)
Schedule : 7-9am start time; M-F, 40 hours per week
Requirements:
- Onsite in Newark, DE 19711
Pay Rate : $19-20 per hour W2
Duration : 6 months to start (potential to extend/convert)
Schedule : 7-9am start time; M-F, 40 hours per week
- Support the daily operation of a microbiological testing laboratory, including but not limited to:
- Receive, unpack, and organize customer samples for laboratory processing.
- Organize and prepare customer returns for processing.
- Under supervision and guidance discard customer samples.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly routine cleaning of all laboratory equipment as needed.
- Assist with Operations laboratory inventory.
- Restock consumables and materials required for sample processing.
- Under supervision and guidance operate laser cutter.
- Dispose of microbial cultures, chemicals, recyclables, sharps, and glass in proper waste containers.
Requirements:
- Background : entry level laboratory role - any relevant experience a plus!
- Skills : Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and team-oriented work environment.
- Education : high school diploma minimum; associate degree or higher preferred
