As a Billing Specialist, you will be tasked with daily data entry and research of customer invoicing, along with reconciling customer disputes. You will assist with preparing and sending invoices, tracking payment processes, keeping meticulous records, and resolving any discrepancies. You should also be able to handle client complaints and follow up on any issues relating to the billing process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with web billing and work well independently, as well as in a team.

This position will be at our main office located in Flower Mound, TX.

Job Description

• Collect and record accurate billing data
• Create and manage customer accounts
• Prepare and issue invoices for customers
• Address any billing problems or disputes
• Communicate with clients to help them resolve problems and find answers
• Monitor payments and accounts to look for any discrepancies
• Track payments and follow up with customers on outstanding balances
• Collaborate with the billing team, as well as other departments, to ensure accuracy of billing information
• Additional job duties may be required

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service capabilities
• Strong Excel, analytical, and numerical skills preferred
• Basic accounting knowledge and auditing skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be a self-starter and meet deadlines
• Strong Communicator and critical thinker

Education and Experience

• 2+ years of previous Billing experience required
• High school diploma / GED

Schedule 

• Monday-Friday 8 AM to 6 PM
• Additional hours as business needs dictate

Salary

• $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
