Customer Service RepresentativeThis employee responds to and/or initiates incoming/outgoing customer inquiries, using company resources, policies, and procedures to provide complete and accurate data.Uses appropriate technologies and follows processes in accordance with company standards to ensure patient contact is handled with accuracy and operational effectivenessObtains prescriptions and other medical documents from providers for new and/or renewal customersJob Responsibilities:Facilitates customer needs to utilize company's products or services by adequately assessing customer qualification, thoroughly explaining product/services benefits, and assisting with physician communication as necessaryDiscusses company's products and services with providers, nurses, and customersEducates providers and nurses on Nebulizer machines and medsSubmits required documentation to physician office for completion of sales/reimbursement requirementsSecures prescriptions, CMNs, and medical documents for customers, including special projectsReviews medical records merges all prescriptions and medical documentation for RPh approvalResponsible for entry of prescriptions and final review of all completed ordersCorrects rejected orders from RPh and resolves customer concerns by providing appropriate information regarding products and servicesRecords customer information and maintains database by obtaining, entering, and verifying required dataEnsures quality service by following departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards as well as adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and standardsFacilitates process by communicating/sharing information with appropriate internal and external contactsProvides customer follow-up as requiredContributes to departmental objectives by accomplishing required production goals and sales resultsMaintains an acceptable level of new starts and approved ordersAccurately records all shipments and ordersEnsures quality service by following departmental and company policies, procedures, and standardsStrong phone and computer etiquetteStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAdequate typing skills (30wpm)Education and Experience:Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalentMedical industry knowledge beneficialMust have prior computer experienceMinimum of one-year clerical/office experienceHave Missouri Pharmacy Technician License or can obtain one in the requested timeframePhysical Demands:The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
