Description
To provide compassionate and competent care so that we have the opportunity to feel the joy of impacting the lives of our patients, their families, and our co-workers.
Duty - Percent of Time
Manage phones, call lights, parent meals, patient schedules, keep information at nurses' station up to date, coordinates/send out communication throughout unit, submitting tickets, coordinate bathing schedules, facilitate moves throughout hospital including room setup at admission and discharge. - 75%
Assist with patient activity at nurses' station. - 10%
Contribute to maintain a tidy work environment; cleans nurses' station and workspace, maintains stock of supplies and forms. - 10%
Other duties as assigned - 5%
Qualifications
Education: - High School Graduate or GED. Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required.
Experience: - 1 year secretarial/office experience is preferred. Computer skill proficiency.
License/Certification/Credential: - None.

Bethany Children's Health Center (formerly The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany, Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The ACHC accredited hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma. Our CARF accredited multidisciplinary team works with patients and their families to maximize the patient's physical and cognitive potential, and ensure the family has the training and resources needed for a smooth transition from hospital to home.
