TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68122!

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Description: The department focuses on providing care to patients in a stepdown unit. Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any associated facility. RNs are required to titrate drips, including Cardizem and seizure medications. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:4-5. There is a Charge Nurse on each shift, and the Charge Nurse does take an assignment. Support staff may be available with a ratio of 1:10 or 2:20. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend. Holiday requirements involve working every third holiday. There are no call or standby requirements. Floating may be necessary to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units. Successful candidates should possess a positive attitude, effective communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. RTO is required upfront, and additional time off will not be approved. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
