Host an International Student: Meet Laura from Spain!

Meet Laura (15): A confident 10th grader and aspiring journalist. Laura is an avid reader (30 books this year!), loves rock climbing and cheerleading, and is already a "pro" at sharing after growing up with a younger sister.

We are looking for a host family to welcome Laura into their home as a member of the family. Whether you have kids, are empty nesters, or are a single-parent household, what matters most is your heart for cultural exchange.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide three meals a day (student has their own spending money for eating out).
• Treat the student as a member of the family, not a guest.
• Help the student integrate into the local community and high school.
• Volunteer opportunity (no stipend is provided)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Have a spare bedroom (students can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender and similar age).
• A heart for cultural exchange and supporting a young person's dreams!
