13 week assignment- Dallas, TX
This is for outpatient rehab - Location Moody Center on Campus. Occupational therapist. Outpatient OT, multidisciplinary team PT/OT/ST. OT would see adults of all ages, diagnosis can be any type, neuro-stroke, TBI, SCI, Parkinson's, ALS, etc. Upper extremity orthopedics-non operative and post operative UE (shoulder, wrist, elbows and hand patients) (trigger fingers), burn survivors, shoulder injuries and chronic shoulder pathologies, repetitive motion disorders-CTS for example, rheumatoid arthritis (lots of hands). Knowledge of outpatient documentation for entering daily, progress, discharge note, authorizations. Independence and communication important. Busy clinic, schedule 9 patients in 45 minute sessions. No specific certification required, but experience with hands, neuro, ortho UE is needed.
