Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Natchez, Mississippi. Job Description & Requirements Responsibilities Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients. Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of the patient. Educate patients on surgical procedures and initiate discharge planning as prescribed by the physician.
