Occupational Therapist (OT) - Acute Care

Contract Length: 26 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:
- Current Occupational Therapy License
- BLS Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Auto Insurance
- Auto Registration
- Tuberculosis Screening (annual)
- MMR Immunization
- Varicella Immunization
- Hepatitis B Immunization
- Tdap Immunization (every 10 years)
- Annual Flu Vaccination
- Drug Screen
- Physical Examination
Compliance / Notes:
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient skills in daily living.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
