About the Role:
Join Lasting Impressions Child Development Center as a Kitchen Assistant, where you will play a vital role in nourishing our children and supporting their growth. Be a part of a caring team dedicated to creating a safe and healthy environment for young learners in Clarksburg, WV.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment.
- Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Support the teaching staff during meal times and snack sessions.
- Help with food storage and labeling to ensure freshness and safety.
- Participate in kitchen maintenance and equipment cleaning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must pass background checks and health screenings.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Passion for working with children and promoting healthy eating habits.
