Title Dental assistant Job Description Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments. Take and develop dental radiographs. Provide pre and post-operative instructions to patients. Maintain accurate patient records. Perform chairside assisting duties efficiently and effectively. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed. Contribute to a positive and efficient office flow. Support front office duties as required. Salary Range full-time $20 - $25 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Benefits Medical and Dental Benefits Paid Vacation Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match. Shift & Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every other Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Requirements General Dentistry X-ray / Radiography Certification Possession of a valid Dental Assistant certification. Radiograph certification. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attendance and punctuality. A friendly and professional demeanor. Preferences Experience with the Open Dental software system. Experience or interest in making whitening and retention trays. Prior experience in a general dentistry practice. Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification.
