Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 18 months.

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement. Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience preferred. NICU experience preferred but not required.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Performs 3D echo in inpatient and outpatient settings, including pediatric and NICU cases and CVOR special procedures such as Watchman, TAVR, and TEE. 8-10 studies per day if outpatient; as needed on inpatient units. Uses Philips EPIC CVX scanners and Philips IntelliSpace Cardiovascular. Cardiology reads stat studies in house in real time; stat pediatric studies are read by Phoenix Children’s. RN starts IVs for bubble tests and assists with Definity tests.

Shift & Scheduling: 36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts. Every other weekend. Up to 2 of the 3 winter/summer holidays. Call 5pm-7pm if you have pediatric experience; clinicians without pediatric experience will not take call.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
