Job Description \n HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit \n Discipline: RN \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 48 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, days, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n \n Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring. \n · EMR – Meditech \n Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. \n · PCU experience \n · Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients \n · Chest tube management, epidurals \n \n Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. \n · Teamwork ability \n · Time management with high turnover of patients \n \n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n · Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients \n · Critical drips, epidurals, PCA \n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: \n · BLS & ACLS \n Floating Area(s): \n · ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg \n \n Elevated rate About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA\n \n At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
