Senior Financial Data Analyst

System One is hiring a Senior Financial Data Analyst to support complex financial datasets, with a specific focus on capital-related reporting and analysis. This direct hire role partners with teams to translate financial and accounting information into clear, actionable insights in a regulated financial services setting. Based in Reston, VA , the position follows a hybrid work model with an onsite expectation of 3–5 days per week , and local candidates are preferred. The salary range is USD 85,100 to 110,000 per year . What you’ll do Support analysis environments and perform comprehensive financial data analysis, emphasizing capital-related reporting and insights Work with complex financial datasets while aligning delivery to business requirements Use SQL to query and analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights Identify and interpret financial and accounting data, then translate findings into recommendations Communicate complex analysis results effectively to both technical and business stakeholders Assist with analysis of derivatives and hedge accounting, with emphasis on Basel regulatory capital requirements and ERCF Deliver reports independently in a regulated financial services environment, including interpretation of results and data-driven reporting What you bring 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in a financial services setting Strong SQL skills, including querying large and complex datasets Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate financial data effectively Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting is highly desirable Familiarity with Basel regulatory capital requirements and ERCF is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field Technologies SQL Benefits Medical Dental Vision Spending accounts Life insurance Voluntary plans Participation in a 401(k) plan #J-18808-Ljbffr System One
