Job Description\n AHS Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in West Burlington, Iowa.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n This is an ICU/CCU RN travel assignment with a strong cardiac/telemetry focus.\n \n Hours: 36 hrs/week, possible OT\n \n Patient population: Adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention\n Skills: Hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac/telemetry care\n Required certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n EMR: Epic experience required within the last 12 months in a similar unit\n Dysrhythmia requirement: Traveler must self-study telemetry strips after acceptance and pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during the first week to continue working in ICU/CCU\n Weekends: Every other weekend\n Holidays: Every other holiday\n Call: No regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call for low census; 1-hour response time if called in\n Important hard stops: Recent Epic experience + passing the dysrhythmia exam\n \n For screening a candidate, I would specifically confirm recent Epic, strong telemetry/rhythm interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS before submitting.\n \n EMR: Epic experience required within the last 12 months in a similar unitAbout AHS Staffing\n \n At AHS Staffing, we are committed to providing a personalized, transparent, and rewarding experience.
